Tūmatauenga / Humanity

As part of the Campaign Rooms exhibition, I explored the militarization of Hawai'i and the conflict between its representation as a peaceful tourist destination and the reality, as being a heavily militarized zone, a potential target. The work focused on the Davey Crockett missile, the world's smallest nuclear warhead ever made, which was once tested at Scofield Barracks, O'ahu, and Pohakuloa in Hawai'i. (Brett Graham)
